My students are mostly first-generation Americans who oftentimes need physical reinforcement to aid what they are learning in the classroom. It can be difficult enough to learn math in a post-pandemic world but imagine doing it while also learning a new language. With your help, I can provide graph charts, place value activities, and other math manipulatives for my students to connect abstract math knowledge to real-world ideas. This will help to provide them with concrete and physical reinforcements to solidify the major concepts in building a solid mathematical foundation. We would be grateful for any help you could give us in fulfilling our goal!
