Students are able to collaborate or build individually. \r\n\r\nThe fidget spinners, gel bead sensory shapes and the spaghetti stretchers has been a great focus tool to use with students after a transition and in between assignments as a motivator and calm down mechanism. \r\n\r\nThe safety locks on the cabinets has been very helpful and has kept students out of dangerous and mess supplies. By quarter four it felt like the end was never in sight, June couldn't come any sooner. But as I look back on the final few weeks of school, I find that some of my favorite art-making experiences occurred in that time. My Pre-k and Kinder classes really found their stride; their maturation evident in their confidence. One of my favorite projects was kinder's crazy tigers. We practiced our knowledge of facial features by painting tigers inspired by Korean folk paintings and a certain Derpy movie-star!\r\n\r\nThose favorite art-making experiences were made largely in part using materials donated from you! Kinder loved using the clipboards to learn how to draw tigers together on the carpet. And the big stencil kit was a big hit during centers! \r\n\r\nI had a wonderful first year teaching art and it wouldn't have been as successful if it was not for your generous donations.
