It is heart warming to see the students have the opportunity to create, express, experiment, and just have fun! \r\n\r\nThe dry-erase markers are used daily during Morning Message time. Students enjoy the routine of the Message and always look forward to the chance to come up and identify and circle focus letters. These bullet tip dry-erase markers have been crucial in continuing to foster an environment that is supportive, builds confidence, and meets the needs of the students.\r\n\r\nThe ink has allowed us to print student pictures, awards, newsletters, classroom labels, and more! How exciting it was for my students to walk into the classroom on the last day before winter break and see presents underneath the tree that they had decorated all week with handmade paper chains! My students were thrilled when they opened up their presents to reveal the Chutes and Ladders Game. This is the fourth year that I gave out a board game before winter break, and this is definitely something that I plan to continue doing! Students immediately started looking at the pictures on the box- identifying numbers, and describing the pictures. One student noticed that some of the pictures were \"kind\" and others were \"not kind\". I explained that the game focuses on numbers, as well as acts of kindness/ being a \"bucketfiller\". Students connected it to our Social Contract. Students were excited to go home and play the game with their families. Families have also shared their gratitude for the resource. My heart was happy to know that in addition to learning and playing, students are also spending quality time with their family members and friends.\r\n\r\nThe hats and gloves were immediately tried on and loved by my students.
