As a teacher you always need things labeled and personalized. This is when the laminator comes in handy. We want to preserve our art! We also like to laminate worksheets so we can reuse them for reinforcement of a lesson. The cricut maker will allow us to make specific things to cater to each child’s vision.
We get most of our supplies through donations. I personally buy most of the pricey items if they can not be donated. So over time it becomes extremely expensive. I do not want to limit there minds. My class loves to create and build. We need the magnetic tiles and the bridge building center to use during STEM activities and also to continue to build fine motor skills. During literacy we will use the story board to help our imagination evolve into more than just a picture. My students will be able to describe in words while visually seeing how to correctly use words.
To include everyone in our crazy rollercoaster of learning, the cricut maker would allow us to make items and sell them to help buy supplies for our program. I aim to get my students where they need to be, by meeting them where they are. The sensory fidget toys will help my scholars with IEPs. It helps them concentrate and to relax when we are doing our projects. I encourage them while promoting mindfulness. I remind them that even if things are not the best at home when you step into my class it is a release to be free from all stressors.
