I have been able to feed students who may not have enough food at home, supply them with materials such as folders and pencils that they otherwise may not have had access to, and encourage them to pick up reading as a new hobby. \r\n\r\nAs the Writing Center becomes more and more established, we are in continuous need of supplies and support. Students are flooding the room and testing the boundaries of what we are capable of, and that is a challenge we welcome with open arms. Our goal is to continue supporting students in as many capacities as possible, reaching them in a wide range of mediums. Our choir robes, which were VERY wrinkled at our last performance, now look elegant. It is amazing that something so small can change your attitude. Students can show up with pride rather than embarrassment. I really cannot put into words what that means.\r\n Students are helping and teaching eachother how to steam and iron.
