Our class is together again this year and we are closer than ever. Looping from first grade to second grade with my students has been an incredible experience. Coming back after summer break, students walked into a revamped classroom. Excitement filled the room! Students are comfy on the carpet, staying more focused using ball chairs, and high energy kids are competing on the bicycle for the farthest distance, all while listening and working hard. My favorite addition to our classroom is our family wall. Students brought in pictures of people or pets they love and decorated the lockers with the smiley face magnets. It creates an even more \"home away from home\" vibe.
