The items I am requesting will benefit my students by enhancing their learning. The easel will enhance whole group instruction, which will primarily take place on the carpet. It will be used for anchor charts, book reading, and other visuals to assist in student learning. It will also be used by my students for reading and writing work stations allowing them to use a hands-on approach to learning. The carpet will also be a great classroom management tool since it is divided into colored squares. Each student will have his or her own space, which will create less distractions during instructional time.
