My kindergarten classroom is located in a small elementary school in Collinsville, IL. It is filled with TONS of colorful decorations and manipulatives for my students. I believe it is extremely important for students to be comfortable in their classroom. I have bean bag chairs, pillows, and other rugs to create the "comfy" vibe. My goal is so utilize flexible seating 100% in the next couple years. I have slowly accumulated various items that can be used, but still need a lot more options. My goal is to teach my students to be very independent throughout the school year. We share our classroom supplies that are stored in a community organizer. All students are taught to clean up after themselves and to share with their classmates. The classroom environment is very welcoming!
