Teamwork is an important part of our day in 1st grade. It is important that we start each day gathered together to greet each other and prepare for our learning. This year, students are working hard on their social skills and teamwork. Having a comfortable rug to gather on will make each morning exciting and welcoming. It will be a place where students will work together, listen to stories together, and practice social skills. Puzzles in the classroom are a great way to practice fine motor skills, concepts, planning, and social skills. These materials will provide great opportunities for social skills and teamwork practice.
