They especially love being able to relate to the characters, stories, and family traditions they see in the books. I love watching their faces light up when they recognize something from their own family or cultural traditions and excitedly share their experiences with their classmates.\r\n\r\nAfter reading, we often complete an activity connected to the story. Now, every child can engage with adaptive learning software that delivers individualized instruction at their exact reading level. The noise isolation lets them record themselves reading aloud to practice fluency, listen back to correct their own mistakes, and complete interactive listening comprehension exercises without missing key details.\r\n\r\nThe kids were thrilled by the simple comfort and independence the new headphones provided—many expressed delight at having soft padding that fit comfortably over their ears and \"crisp\" sound that didn't cut out. Our English Language Learners and students with sensory processing differences have especially thrived with this upgrade. I truly don't know how we would get through our Morning Meeting without them! \r\nMorning Meeting is the foundation of the day. It's the time we come together as a group. It's the time when we connect, or we reconnect, to the skill and knowledge building on which we are focusing. As a PreK class, it is a time when the students learn how to actively listen, participate in discussions and spend some time in a stationary position, something new to most of them. Without these chairs, some of out students would not be able to participate.
