My students love to take what they learn in our mini-lessons and put it into practice through hands-on center activities. Whether it's through games, online practice, or cooperative learning, these activities help enhance their knowledge as it provides them opportunities to both reinforce and extend their learning. In particular, the Can Do! Reading Games and Power Pen! Math Quiz will also create the opportunity to further differentiate learning by providing access to all students and helping build their confidence as readers and mathematicians. Meanwhile, the laminating machine will ensure that anchor charts can be provided for students to use at each center as guidance. The goal of this project is to empower students to continue their learning journeys through engaging, hands-on experiences. My hope is that these materials will be used as learning tools that help advance student learning and allow them to take ownership of it. By providing students with a variety of modes from which to experience the learning, I am sure their motivation, confidence, and curiosity will be enhanced.
