My wonderful students attend a hard working elementary school in Illinois. Our school is very big, 1800 students in grades Pre-K through 8th, and supplies and resources are limited. My classroom consists of 18 students with special needs. My students are so respectful, hard working and determined to overcome anything presented before them. We have a diverse classroom with various disabilities including autism, learning disabilities, cognitive delays, and physical impairments. The supportive paraprofessionals and myself use positive reinforcement and build the confidence the students need to believe they can achieve anything.
