As I went around the room talking to students about their books, there was a mix of pride, joy and comfort. They designed everything without any interference from me (their art teacher). Students use visuals and verbal reminders of aspects of what to include in their spoken descriptions of pictures or situations. They have had to examine what are relevant aspects to share and how to use words to paint a picture in others' minds. \r\n\r\nWhat is especially useful about this kit is that it considers the age and maturity of the students.
