This project will benefit 26 students who will be part of a new Dual Language Classroom at our school. The Guided Reading Collection in Spanish will support language instruction in Spanish and students will be able to receive guided reading instruction according to their reading levels. The Magnetic Letters Kit will support letter recognition as well as help them formulate initial words in Spanish. White boards as well as Dry Erase Pocket Sheets will help my students improve fine motor skills by practicing writing using those tools before transferring print on paper. By contributing to this project, you will help a generation of risk takers who are learning in two different languages to become biliterate and bicultural students.
