Student and classroom supplies seem so trivial, however they make a difference in productivity and attitude. My students and I are non-stop from the time the bell rings until the end of the day. We do not have minutes to waste trying to find working materials.\r\n\r\nThe students' job when they arrive each day is to learn and grow. If they are bogged down looking for a white board that is usable or markers with ink, this slows them down. School supplies may not seem important, but working materials make a difference. Another example is finding sharpened pencils or working pens. Both impact work quality. Overall, it is vital to have what we need to be successful.\r\n\r\nAttitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. The students were so excited to know they were the first to use all of these supplies. Everything was so new, shiny, and in perfect working order.
