I want to meet the individual learning styles of all of my students. Students need to do more than sit in desks and listen to direct instruction all day. They need to sit in teams, work together, discover, and lead their own learning. This project is the first step in this process - the round tables and bar stools will create two teams of four who can work together throughout the day. These students will be able to focus on the work at hand and feel comfortable doing so! I hope this project sparks a change that allows my classroom to become a home away from home - somewhere students are comfortable taking risks, helping each other, and trying their hardest.
