Starting this year, we are incorporating more small group learning in our third grade classroom to meet the needs of all learners. Reading, writing, math, and more will take place at this table where all third graders will be able to join in on conversations, activities, and instruction that will help support their personal learning goals. We will use hands on activities to help us build our understanding of math concepts., and the hands on activity packs in this project will help students to conceptualize a deeper understanding of mathematics. During small group instruction, shy students are more likely to share, struggling students will get the personalized learning they need to be successful, and connections are made between students and teachers. Please help me to provide an environment where all student needs are met! Because I will be creating a safe and comfortable space in my classroom to learn, I will be able to use the products in this project to meet the needs of individual students.
