The materials you helped fund for our production of Seussical the Musical have transformed our stage, costumes, and rehearsal process. From the moment the students saw the colorful set pieces, whimsical props, and character costumes, their eyes lit up with wonder. Many of them had never participated in a full musical before, and this experience has truly brought out their confidence, teamwork, and love for performing.\r\n\r\nOne unforgettable moment was during our first dress rehearsal—students gasped and clapped when they saw each other fully dressed as the Cat in the Hat, Horton, and the Whos. It was a magical shift that made the story come alive in ways they hadn't imagined. Watching them take ownership of their roles, support one another behind the scenes, and truly embody the messages of creativity and courage from Dr. Seuss has been powerful. One student even said, \"I feel like a real actor now!\"\r\n\r\nAs we prepare for our final performance for families and the school community, the students are polishing their scenes, practicing their lines with passion, and learning the importance of responsibility and dedication. Beyond the stage, they are building life skills—public speaking, collaboration, and confidence—that will stay with them long after the curtain falls.
