I have chosen several board games that will be fun for my students to play in the classroom and aid in learning. Interactive board games are an engaging way to introduce and support social skills development. My students lack appropriate social skills, especially with their peers. Social skills are essential for them to learn so they can interact appropriately in their school, and home environments. Interactive games allow social skill development in the areas of turn taking, waiting, sharing items amongst peers, and sportsmanship. It’s also a fun way to build confidence and a community amongst students.
