Students were thrilled to discover that they could safely cut cardboard on their own. Their faces lit up the moment they realized what was possible.\r\n\r\nWe've already completed a hands-on project where students designed and built their own cardboard creations. They made puppets, airplanes, cats, dinosaurs, and all sorts of imaginative animals. One of my favorite classroom moments was watching a group of students collaborate to design a flying creature—they carefully measured, cut, and assembled each piece with confidence. Because the machine is so easy to use, they learned the process quickly and took real ownership of their work.
