My students are a joy to teach and add excitement to each school day. My students have a natural love of learning and each school day is an adventure for them. A third of my students have never been to any form of school or daycare before entering Kindergarten this school year. Getting them prepared for First grade will be a very challenging but very rewarding task as I monitor their growth and progress throughout the school year. My school is a gem located on the 'south end' of the school district. Most of the schools located in this part of the district teach students that are from low-socioeconomic families, single parent homes, receive free or reduce lunch and need a lot of attention, love and structure from the schools.
