My students work very hard day in and day out to be exemplar students. In my class room, I like to use positive reinforcement as a behavior system. This gets students excited to do the right thing ALL the time. Students work harder when they know there is a positive reward to look forward to. We all know students love snacks and candy. Allowing students to be responsible for their own positive behavior deserves to be awarded. This is especially true for students who are only 9 and 10 years old.
