During this time, I see my students becoming more of "tweens". It can often be a tough year! They are, in essence, "finding themselves". They tend to always want to see their counselor to talk about what is going on in their lives. Because I have so many students, it is hard to see so many of them. I have to make sure I am helping them balance the social, emotional and academic pieces in their lives.
