This hands-on experience challenged them in the best ways possible and encouraged them to draw on a variety of important skills from their \"treasure trove\" of learning:\r\nPerseverance: Continuing to build even when things didn't work as planned.\r\nResearch Skills: Looking up tips and videos to better understand how to assemble their robots. Collaboration and Communication: Working together in teams to solve problems and share ideas. Creative Problem Solving: Figuring out how to fix errors and improve their robot designs. As their teacher, it was amazing to witness the spark of excitement ignite in each student. Several of them came to me afterward and said, \"Thank you for letting us build robots — I didn't think I was smart enough to do something like this.\" Hearing those words touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes.
