My students struggle due to their language barrier and they must keep up with the second language curriculum that is taught to them daily. With the support of these educational tools, my students will have a plethora of resources to help support their learning. The tools will not only help with their language development; the math tools will provide a visual platform for them to solve and think through computation problems. The writing workshop will assist with language and organization of their thoughts in language. Grammar plays a significant role in transference to English. Even though my students struggle with learning two languages, they are still required to take and successfully pass the state mandated exams that are given each year. Therefore, the writing grammar and writing tools are huge component to their academic success. The Amazon tablets are an additional component to promote their academic achievements and developments. The school system bought an educational problem that targets at risk learners in reading and writing. The tablets will assist in making sure that all of the students will have the opportunity to get on the program and work daily to strengthen their reading skills. Currently, we only have six computers in out classroom. Thus, the tablets will give them more technology access.
