My students will need the headphones to complete interactive lessons and activities on their Chromebooks. So many times throughout the day my students use their Chromebooks to complete activities or watch videos that go along with the lesson. It is very hard for them to do so when all 17 of their Chromebooks volume is on and they are trying to pay attention to the material needed to be learned. So often throughout the day my students feel the need to get up randomly and move around; more than likely because they've been sitting down in a hard seat all day. This is the main reason why my students need cushions for their eats. The cushions will help them to stay a little more comfortable throughout the day causing them to be able to focus more on the lessons or activities they will be working on. Many times students will tell me they just need to stretch or stand for a second. My class doesn't like to stay seated for very long periods of time because they are uncomfortable in the standard seats that were provided to them. In the reading center I created crates that have foam cushions covered by fabric to enable the students a more relaxing time as they are reading leisurely. Throughout the day I find students trickling over to that area to read or complete independent work because the crates are comfortable to sit on. Which is why receiving these seat cushions will be such a great deal for my students!!
