We use it every day as a place to come together for morning meetings, read-alouds, partner discussions, learning activities, and celebrations. It gives our students a comfortable space where we can gather as a classroom family and learn together.\r\n\r\nOne of the best things about kindergarten is that so much of our learning happens together. As we continue building our classroom community and learning our routines, the rug will be a place where students practice listening to one another, sharing their ideas, working with partners, and celebrating their accomplishments.
