The different seating options allow students to choose a space where they can work comfortably and stay focused. During math, students may move to a flexible seating area while working through challenging problems with a partner or independently. The classroom rug has created a shared space to discuss ideas and gather together.\r\nWhen the boxes arrived, the students were excited and very curious to see what they contained. There were cheers of happiness when the magna tiles were unpacked and, working in collaborative small groups, the class created many interesting structures! The snap cubes, Judy clocks and \"money bags\" were also received with excitement as the children enjoyed free exploration of the new math tools.
