So, instead of only calling on one student to ask them a question, the whole class can answer a question and be able to show me what they know. I am able to get real time feedback and see whether or not majority of my students are understanding the lesson. If I see that most students got a question wrong I am able to immediately clear up any misunderstandings and provide feed back!\r\n\r\nMy students love the fact that we are learning in a different way outside of the normal powerpoint lessons and book work so they are excited to come to class. With that being said, student attendance has increased compared to attendance last year and I am experiencing fewer moments of having to redirect students to pay attention to the lesson. \r\n\r\nSeeing how beneficial delivering my lesson via Wayground has been at the end of the year I was also able to see how challenging it was for students that were using their personal device (cell phones, and iPads)to remain disciplined and not text or go on social media during the lesson.
