Your support plays a vital role in helping us continue to foster an environment where students can explore their passions for technology and innovation.\r\n\r\nThe LEGO Spike Kit you provided has been a game-changer for our students. It offers them an incredible hands-on learning experience, allowing them to build and test their creations in a way that is both engaging and educational. Not only are they learning about Lego Robotics, but they are also developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills that will serve them well in the future.\r\n\r\nWhat excites our students the most about the new LEGO Spike kits is the flexibility and creativity they allow. They can design their own builds, modify them based on real-world challenges, and see their ideas come to life. The tactile nature of building with LEGO pieces makes abstract concepts much more tangible and helps our students better understand the science, technology, engineering, and math principles behind robotics.\r\n\r\nParticular students have really excelled with this technology. For example, one of my special need students, a naturally curious and inventive student, has a passion for building and problem-solving, thanks to the hands-on nature of the kits. It's been truly inspiring to watch how these tools are bringing out the best in our students.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for your generous contribution. It's having a lasting impact on our students, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish next with this amazing new kit.","fullyFundedDate":1733165082209,"projectUrl":"project/beginner-robotics-class-lets-get-movi/8689440/","projectTitle":"Beginner Robotics Class - Let's Get Moving!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Mo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7835270_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725215634425","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7835270"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_42268","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":987,"numTeachers":54,"percentFrplEligible":58,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":22,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":74,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"18.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":74.6,"schoolId":42268,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Miami Lakes Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Miami Lakes Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/miami-dade-county-public-schools/miami-lakes-middle-school/42268"}
