My students are very driven by technology, especially their phones. With the use of a classroom laptop, I can ensure that they have the ability to access their student portal via a computer rather then on their phone. From my experience, many of students do not take advantage of the portal which has access to tons of resources related to their textbook and the lessons taught. Some children need the lessons re-taught and the link “Algebra Nation” in their portal provides that for them. Having the laptop will allow me to monitor and teach them how to be proactive and successful in my class!
