It gives them opportunities to listen, follow directions, build vocabulary, practice important literacy skills, and learn at their own pace. Students are able to use technology as an interactive tool that supports what we are learning in the classroom and helps make learning meaningful and fun.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most about the new technology is being able to explore, listen, and learn in a way that feels interactive and engaging. They are especially excited to use the listening center because they can enjoy stories and learning activities while developing their listening comprehension and love of books. It has made learning feel like an adventure, and my students look forward to these opportunities each day.\r\n\r\nMy students who benefit the most are those who are developing their language, vocabulary, and listening skills. They have especially warmed to the technology because it gives them the opportunity to hear stories and directions repeatedly and practice independently. One specific classroom project is our literacy intervention activities. My students use the materials to practice letter sounds, phonics, decoding, and high-frequency words through multisensory activities. They especially enjoy being able to touch, move, and manipulate the materials while learning.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using these resources during small-group instruction and individualized learning activities. We will focus on strengthening phonics and reading skills, building confidence, and helping students become more independent readers.
