My students are an inquisitive group that are always up to the challenge when it comes to their learning. They love engaging in hands-on projects that encourage them to find a variety of solutions to any problem they face. The students in my classroom become facilitators of their own learning and take ownership of their education. My students always learn best when presented with the content through a variety of sources as well as including them in the process teaching. The students that I teach come from limited experiences and limited resources. In my classroom I do not want my students to feel isolated or excluded because they do not have the needed resources or do not have the prior knowledge. It is important for my students to feel as though they belong and feel safe and trusting of their school family.
