By expanding my collection and adding new titles, genres, and series, students have more options to explore. \r\n\r\nReading in the library is lively and joyful! You'll often see students spread around the library in cozy reading spots, deeply engaged in their library books or excitedly whispering to a friend about a favorite character. We have a daily read aloud that spark thoughtful conversation and curiosity. The new books have made library time something students genuinely look forward to each day.\r\n\r\nMultiple students haven't shown much interest in reading earlier this year, but after discovering these new books from our new collection, they've been hooked! Now these students ask me to hold books for them to check out, read during free time and even recommend these books to their classmates. These new resources have completely transformed the way our students engage during math time.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was seeing the excitement on their faces the first time they got to choose their own seat for math rotations. Some students settled into the floor cushions to work with partners, while others preferred the reclining chairs to stay active as they solved math problems. The classroom instantly felt more energetic and focused — students were collaborating, moving comfortably, and truly enjoying their learning.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating options have made a noticeable difference in helping students stay engaged and focused, especially during small group intervention time. They're able to move, refocus, and take ownership of their learning space, which has improved both their confidence and math fluency.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll continue using these materials as we work through our math workplace games on place value and multiplication. Students are already looking forward to rotating through new games and using their favorite seats to stay comfortable and focused while they learn.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our classroom — your generosity has made math time one of our students' favorite parts of the day!","fullyFundedDate":1760370959650,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-focused-minds/9822710/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating, Focused Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Spotz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7135550_orig.jpg?crop=876,876,x0,y29&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1606925920228","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7135550"},{"teacherId":4506463,"projectId":5298768,"letterContent":"Your support helped me to make videos for my students so that during this difficult time of covid I was able to create Youtube videos to share with students how to do projects, as well as use those materials to make zoom meetings ore fun.\r\n\r\nMy students were able to be engaging and to create a lot of art being stuck at home.
