The iPad and printer have made a meaningful difference in how my students learn each day. The iPad allows students to practice reading and math skills through interactive activities, listen to stories, record themselves reading, and receive immediate feedback. For students who need extra support, the technology gives them another way to access learning through visuals, audio, and hands-on practice. The printer has also been incredibly helpful because I can quickly print differentiated activities, reading passages, visual supports, and student work materials right when they are needed.\r\nMy students have been especially excited about using the iPad during small-group instruction and independent learning stations. They love that learning feels interactive, and many students are more motivated to complete reading and math activities when they can use technology as part of the lesson. The new books have also brought fresh excitement to our classroom library. Students are eager to choose books that interest them, build reading stamina, and share their favorite stories with classmates. The incentive pencils have helped us celebrate effort, positive choices, and hard work in a simple but meaningful way.\r\nOne of the best parts of this project has been seeing students who may be hesitant readers become more confident and engaged. Some students who do not always choose books independently are now excited to browse the classroom library or listen to stories on the iPad before trying to read on their own. These resources have helped create a more supportive, motivating, and accessible learning environment for all students. Thank you for investing in my students and helping them feel successful, encouraged, and proud of their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1770930837905,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-learning-and-incentives/9856029/","projectTitle":"Classroom Learning and Incentives","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tagle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4476312_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1496158058396","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4476312"},{"teacherId":10326264,"projectId":9851594,"letterContent":"We are so appreciative of the donations my students received. Since I teach multilingual learners in kindergarten through fifth grade, your generosity benefited numerous students. First of all, the pencil grippers help some of my kindergarteners who are still having difficulty holding their pencils properly when writing. Next, the fidgets have been extremely useful for the majority of my students from grades second to fifth grade. I have noticed that the students enjoy using the fidgets while I read aloud long passages in Language Arts, and they may use them to calm themselves when dealing with various emotions. For instance, the kindergarteners and first graders also enjoy using playdough to make CVC words or identify vowel sounds using graphic organizers. Finally, my fourth graders are reading the graphic novel \"El Deafo\". The donation of the graphic novels has allowed my MLL students to use visuals and short text to comprehend the book's plot. At the same time, we have had meaningful discussions about a child their own age facing life-changing circumstances and about empathy for individual life struggles. Overall, we are extremely thankful for your kindness and generosity, more than words can express.","fullyFundedDate":1769177919682,"projectUrl":"project/empathy-hands-and-emotions-graphic-nov/9851594/","projectTitle":"Empathy, Hands and Emotions: Graphic Novels & Fidgets for K-5","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mentor","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10326264"},{"teacherId":10310301,"projectId":10022378,"letterContent":"We have greatly appreciated your donation to our classroom. In 32 years of teaching in a Delaware public school, this is the first time that I was trusted to select the materials that were needed for my classroom to support literacy. We already have a district curriculum for ELA that we use with fidelity. However, I encourage our students to read independently everyday at school and at home as part of our Accelerated Reader program.\r\n I have quite a few students who are reading below grade level, including an MLL student who has only been in the United States learning English for the last year.
