Since the items have arrive students have been able to work collaboratively to share each item and have truly enjoyed using the materials and learning from them. The headphones, the iPad, the dry erase boards, and the added books to our classroom library have made a great difference in our skills and participation. \r\nHaving the iPad for small group instruction has made our time together more impactful and engaging for our short period together. Students are able to quiz each other on the words. It has also put the tools we need right at our finger tips instead of shuffling through multiple cards. \r\nThe head[phones have made the classroom a quiet place to work and stay focused. Before there were many sounds with all students working at the same time on chrome books. Now everyone can stay focused on their computer and limit the distractions and extra noise. \r\nThe new markers, erasers, and boards have given every student the tools to be successful. Some of these stories were more familiar, bringing in struggling learners, and some were more advanced, pulling in those students who are already at a higher level of learning. I am excited for our upcoming Astronomy Unit to investigate different planets through our new books. I plan on having the students learn and share facts that they have collected from these resources. Also, the ability for hands on learning with our solar system model is so exciting. \r\n We are excited to continue to use these tool in our classroom.
