My students were very excited when we received each donation. We played with the excavation kit, the building blocks and STEM Geomakers!\r\n\r\nThe memories books that are a year long project, beginning on the first day of school were so fun to make. My class enjoyed using the fabric markers to decorate class shirts and they watched me hard at work binding each book! Students were thrilled to take their keepsakes home and share them with their families. \r\n\r\nMy next steps are to continue to label and organize materials we use on a daily basis and this will provide students with structure and independence. It will allow them to place all materials in their proper location and it will be easier to find materials when needed.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making our classroom more engaging and most of all helping us put our memories in a keepsake book that we will be able to cherish for years to come!","fullyFundedDate":1742901047144,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-keepsakes-and-more/9065335/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Keepsakes and More!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Votino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4525737_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1499874763075","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4525737"},{"teacherId":4997225,"projectId":9048255,"letterContent":"I want to extend my deepest thanks for your generous support of our end-of-year classroom activities. When we first saw the new things for our classroom we were so excited. We enjoy spending time together in small groups and the tractor chairs are so fun and cool. We put it by our window and it makes us feel like we are outside in nature. We call the bistro, \"The Golden Cafe\" because 4th grade is Golden and our teacher has 3 Golden Retrievers. One of them came in last week to read with us in our cafe. We love our new carpet and it looks like fake grass and covers the whole bistro area where we are able to read at, write, and do math problems. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for the donations and please know that this made us feel so good. \"We are so proud of our room and it feels like a home,\" said \"Kennedy. \"I like to sit with a friend and work together with them and I love being with our kindergarten book buddies in our special areas,\" Noah stated.
