Nine different items went into each bag to fill a variety of sensory needs.\r\n \r\nWe then delivered them to our K-2 friends in two different classrooms. This week we will learn all about pumpkins. After we carve our classroom pumpkin, we will use our sensory tables for the students to see and touch the different parts of a pumpkin. It's simply the best! It's got so many functions, and we continue to find more ways to use it. We love that it's magnetic and can display our laminated learning tools on it with just a small magnet on the back. We also use the large rings to hold our easel paper where we do many whole group projects, including dotting and painting.\r\n\r\nThe easel is the center of our morning meeting. We use the small ledge to hold our individual photos, as well as to hold the big books we've been reading daily. It's so multipurpose! On the back side of the easel, there is \"lined paper\" on the white board. Soon, we will begin to use this side to practice tracing our letters and names. There's even a shelf to hold all of our morning meeting supplies. \r\n\r\nWe can't wait to learn and grow with the help of our easel.
