The older students have begun their projects to share with the younger students in our school, and some have mentored young pilots in 4th grade to begin to learn drone skills. A drone has even been featured doing fly-bys on our school wide Student News videos. There are students who are not as motivated by \"traditional\" experimentation and exploration in science class who have been flexing their mental muscles while testing out the drones, and their excitement and collaboration with peers has been amazing to see!\r\n\r\nAs the weather warms, our engagement with the drones will continue as the 7th and 8th graders will engage the younger students with their projects; thus far students have planned and started practicing story-telling projects, historical re-enactments, obstacle course construction, and drone trick competitions to share with our younger learners.
