My students are always driven to learn. Coming from a low-income community is hard on any child, so my job is not only to teach the fundamentals, but to support students through their own obstacles. Most of these students come from Spanish speaking homes; speaking either one or two languages already. Our school is located in a poverty-stricken area of the city which makes gathering materials difficult. My goal is to provide the most that I can for these students, with the help of whoever is willing. We love learning and we love to build our classroom up with beautiful displays of our hard work. So as we keep pushing forward and making sure to meet expectations and standards, we also hope to help each other and build on our characters as well as our academic instruction!
