Your kindness and willingness to support our youngest learners have made a meaningful difference in their daily lives.\r\n\r\nFor many children, a snack is simply a part of their routine. However, for a number of our students, the snacks you provide are much more than that. Many of the children we serve come from families facing significant financial hardships. Some households struggle to consistently provide enough food due to rising costs, limited resources, or unexpected challenges. Because of this reality, the nutritious snacks you have donated help fill an important need and ensure that our students have the nourishment they need during the school day.\r\n\r\nYoung children learn best when their basic needs are met. A hungry child often finds it difficult to focus, participate, and fully engage in classroom activities. The snacks you provide help fuel growing minds and bodies, allowing our students to learn, play, explore, and interact with their peers with greater energy and confidence. Something as simple as a package of crackers, a granola bar, applesauce, or fruit snacks can make a tremendous difference in a child's day.\r\n\r\nBeyond meeting a physical need, your generosity sends a powerful message to our students and their families: that they are valued, supported, and cared for by their community. Many of our children may not fully understand where the snacks come from, but they feel the impact of your kindness every day. They experience the comfort of knowing there is something to eat when they are hungry and the joy of sharing a snack time with friends. These moments help create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, welcomed, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nAs educators, we have the privilege of witnessing firsthand how acts of generosity positively affect our students. We see the smiles on their faces, the excitement when snack time arrives, and the relief of knowing there is enough for everyone. Your donations do more than provide food; they help create opportunities for success. They support attendance, engagement, and overall well-being, all of which are critical foundations for early childhood development.\r\n\r\nWe also recognize that your donations represent a sacrifice of your own time, resources, and effort. Whether you contributed a single box of snacks or organized larger collections, every donation has been important and appreciated. It is inspiring to see individuals, families, local businesses, and community organizations come together to support children in need. Your compassion exemplifies the very best of what a caring community can achieve.\r\n\r\nPlease know that your generosity does not go unnoticed. Each snack shared, each box donated, and each act of kindness contributes to a brighter day for our students. You are helping ensure that children have the opportunity to focus on what matters most at this stage of life: learning, growing, and discovering the world around them.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for investing in our children and supporting our Pre-K program. Your partnership plays an important role in helping us provide a positive and nurturing educational experience for every child who walks through our doors. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support and for the difference you make in the lives of our students every single day.\r\n\r\nWith sincere appreciation and gratitude,\r\n\r\nThe Pre-K Students, Families, Teachers, and Staff","fullyFundedDate":1781187841493,"projectUrl":"project/feed-me/10331644/","projectTitle":"Feed Me!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Booker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4566618_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1781178963503","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4566618"},{"teacherId":4566618,"projectId":10249669,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our youngest learners with your donation to our \"No Summer Slide for PreK!\" project. What began as a simple effort to make circle time more comfortable has truly transformed the way our young learners participate and engage each day.\r\nFor many of our students, having a soft, defined seating space provides the sensory support they need to feel calm and secure. The cushions help them regulate their bodies, which leads to improved attention, smoother transitions, and greater participation during circle time activities. We have seen students settle more quickly, remain engaged for longer periods, and interact more confidently with peers and teachers.\r\nThe cushions have also encouraged independence and routine. Students take pride in choosing their spot, carrying their cushion, and caring for their space. These small steps build important early skills such as responsibility, self awareness, and organization.\r\nOverall, this project has made our classroom environment more inclusive, supportive, and developmentally appropriate for our diverse learners. The rug area has become a welcoming space where students feel comfortable, connected, and ready to learn together.\r\nThank you for supporting initiatives that enrich the daily experiences of our youngest learners.
