These materials will make a huge difference in our classroom because we will be able to do 'hands on' experiments that are aligned to the Core Ideas of Science. Students will have notebooks to records their notes as well as to write down their thoughts and what they have learned. Having an electric pencil sharpener in my classroom will give the students an easy access to get their pencils sharpened quickly. This will allow students to be better prepared to get their work done, in a timely manner, instead of constantly trying to sharpen their pencils for a long period of time, using a mechanical sharpener, which I have to replace every day. The card stock paper will allow my students to make beautiful origami projects. Having these supplies, will allow the students to come to school feeling less pressured about not having any money to get some of the most important items that are presently needed in my classroom.
