We started with 21 students, playing a combination of purchased, borrowed, and donated instruments, and it was a wonderful start! The community has responded enthusiastically and it looks like there will be a second class period of mariachi next year. Great news, but being a Title 1 school funding is always a concern and we are scrambling to have enough instruments for these students in August.\r\n\r\nYour generous contribution will allow us to outfit some beginning violin players and check instruments out to them so that they can practice independently. Without that, they would be sharing instruments which would greatly hinder their progress.\r\n\r\nThank you for your kindness and support in providing a meaningful experience for our young musicians! We will honor your generosity by making beautiful music and helping young people grow into the best versions of themselves.","fullyFundedDate":1774367880881,"projectUrl":"project/fuel-the-mariachi-one-violin-at-a-time/10165027/","projectTitle":"Fuel the Mariachi - One Violin at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Kwon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3772995_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1522733514128","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/sfhschoir"},{"teacherId":6855896,"projectId":8686380,"letterContent":"We are deeply grateful for your generous donations that made a meaningful difference in supporting our students.
