As the world learns to adapt to changes brought on by the pandemic, our students have had to adjust to distance learning. Fears, uncertainty, changes in financial security, and loss have left many vulnerable and in need of emotional support. Student's ability to learn depends not just on the quality of their textbooks and teachers, but also on the comfort and safety they feel at school and the emotional support that honors their experiences. All the items have been mindfully selected to gently remind students to practice self-care and learn skills to manage their emotions so that they may succeed academically, ask for help, and be reminded that they are cared for.

About my class
