The students are part of a low income area that attend a public school in California. My students are sophomores and juniors in public high school. The class contains a mixture of ELL students and those on free or reduced price lunch programs. They are also a mixture of student athletes, club representatives,and ASB members. The students are ones that face many challenges in their lives and overcome it through their hard work and perseverance. My goal is to help prepare these students to go to college and enjoy the world of chemistry.

About my class
