On a fundamental level, the lack of basic equipment makes learning challenging. We are currently working with music stands that don't hold their angle/height and sag, which means students are constantly adjusting their stands rather than focusing on their musical tasks. Also challenging is the fact that running our sound equipment on the school's 50-year-old electrical grid creates challenges with breakers tripping, etc. By providing an upgrade to our basic equipment, these music stands and the power conditioner will help us overcome logistical challenges and get back to doing what we do best: make beautiful music for our audiences. Thank you!
