Meeting learners of such varying height and size with wiggle and non wiggle needs felt impossible. Now, thanks to you and your generosity, we have a variety of seating meeting the needs of the learners. They now know which seat helps them best fit the space and their needs so that they can be settled productive thinkers. \r\n\r\nYes, we have needed to learn to negotiate and use our words for the seat we need, but they are doing it! I will never know the long term impact on their body, but I know now, they are more comfortable and for that I am forever grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1736324085229,"projectUrl":"project/seats-for-healthy-hands/8754065/","projectTitle":"Seats for Healthy Hands.","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wildy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp687851_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1459305691995","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/wildysworld"},{"teacherId":3097310,"projectId":8851076,"letterContent":"Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our students now have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in their favorite book series without the frustration of missing volumes. With the addition of titles like Murtagh from The Inheritance Cycle and Children of Anguish and Anarchy, students can follow the complete journeys of their favorite characters, strengthening their comprehension, critical thinking, and love of reading. These books also provide opportunities for rich discussions on themes like resilience, identity, and adventure—topics that deeply resonate with middle school readers.\r\n\r\nIn our library, reading is an active and dynamic experience. Students eagerly browse the shelves, place holds on books they've been waiting for, and excitedly recommend titles to their peers. Since receiving these new books, I've seen students immediately dive into the pages, discussing plot twists and character arcs with their friends. One student, who had been waiting months for The Hunting Moon, couldn't contain their excitement when they finally got their hands on it, reading it between classes and even during lunch. Another student, who previously struggled to stay engaged with books, found themselves hooked on Futureland: The Nightmare Hour, rediscovering their love for reading through the thrilling adventure.\r\n\r\nThis project has not only filled gaps in our library collection but has also reignited excitement and passion for reading among our students.
