The students will use calculators in labs. Working on calculating speeds, velocity, acceleration, momentum, energy and other math in scientific settings. The usage of calculators will make it easier for my students to connect classroom learning to everyday life. How we plan road construction and speed limits around the curves on mountains sides will be easily connected to classroom learning. Students will be able to see themselves as part of the living world when they calculate their own momentum and energy created by them. Whether it the periodic table of elements or learning to convert units for physics, or calculating astronomical distances; we will make good use of these calculators.
