My students are making daily use of our ten new Korg Tuners! Each tuner has a pocket in a shoe organizer on the back of my office door. Students grab a tuner on the way to their seat each period and check their own tuning before passing the tuner to a neighbor. \r\n\r\nThe students weren't sure at first because it meant THEY had to more to do at start of the class period. Once we got into a rhythm using them, I believe they enjoy playing their instruments more than just waiting around for me to get done tuning everyone! \r\n\r\nFor me, it is an absolute game changer in how I run my rehearsals! I am no longer lining up my students at the front of the room each period to tune each instruments. Students can charge and stay with a partner keeping our class learning and safe. Students have learned quickly how to use them and protect them so that all of our students can benefit. Their charge lasts long enough that they are out at the end of the day and ready to be recharged overnight. \r\n\r\nHaving safe walkways and robot movement area has meant the world to me as now I can focus on learning and not on who might trip.
