As students return from online learning it is important to give them hands on lessons that promote learning as well as the skills of collaboration and critical thinking and promote citizenship and build character. This year we will be having students analyze key documents from our nations history to analyze the culture and identity of America as a country. The students will use the documents to identify key attributes of the American character and make posters that will be shared with the class to demonstrate how these documents helped shape the government and character of our country. The posters of the documents they are using will help remind them of the documents throughout the term as we refer back to them over time.
