Being able to identify all the aspects of a number such as its place value, if it's even or odd, what equations add up to that number and even how we count up to that number by tens and fives helps students understand numbers in a more meaningful way. \r\n\r\nI was also able to purchase fun and engaging morning slides that support student independence. With these slides students know exactly what to do when they arrive and what to expect for the day.
