Even though our kids are in their last year of elementary school, they still love art and benefit from having art integrated into their curriculum for self expression and to continuing refining spacial skills. \r\n\r\nYour donation has provided our students with supplies that have been used across many subject areas, including art. Students used the markers, black sharpies, and metallic sharpies to create a completed art piece for our school art show. Students created their version of a Jen Aranyi inspired winter background to go behind a winter bear drawing. Students used the sharpies and oil pastels to also create a heart art project inspired by the style of Jim Dine.\r\n\r\nStudents have been thrilled to be able to use your donation in other subject areas, such as reading. Students used these supplies to create literature circle projects to creatively demonstrate their understanding of their most recent book study. In science, markers and oil pastels were used to scientific sketch the results and observations to chemical reaction experiments.\r\n\r\nOur team and students could not be more grateful for your support and donation to help fostering creative expression in our grade!
